Christy Baldwin Photography ~ Fun & Fabulous Artistic Photography with a Lifestyle Flair

Howdy - Glad to have you visit Christy Baldwin Photography! Who doesn't like to have fun? And doesn't everyone have more fun just being themselves? Well fun is exactly what we want for every session with CBP - Real Life Photography is our favorite! Yes we all want a formal family portrait when Grandma comes to visit ( and we can create those too ) but then it's time to cut loose and have fun! The natural interactions, the dirty knees, the wrinkled skirts, the runny noses... all create the priceless images that will be your favorite. We know you have an endless supply of local professionals to consider... but give us a call and let us show you what sets us apart!

I met Kellie and her family (which includes three fabulous boys – yes three, triplets!) last October.   I was instantly taken with the boys – they all have such different and great personalities, beautiful eyes and such happy smiles!  And boy did they keep me on my toes!  Here’s me, 7 months pregnant and huge chasing after 2 year old triplets around a field full of pumpkins.  But I didn’t fall :)   We had a great time and I couldn’t wait to do more photos with them!

I was reaccly excited that they won the pumpkin contest and I was recently able to join them for their third birthday party!  And I thought triplets were a handful – there were THREE sets of triplets plus extrasat the party!  What fun though; bubbles, swings, hot-dogs, cake, candy, pool – a dream for any three old party.  I was all smiles behind the camera all afternoon seeing how much they have grown in just a couple of months; budding young boys :)

I again was welcomed into their home this past weekend where I had the privilege of spending a little time with Mommy and the boys for a special mommy’s day session.  The love between all of them filled the room and then some – the boys are very lucky to have a great Mommy who loves them very much!  Kellie shared with me a very touching family story and how special that day was for her.  I am so thankful that I am able to spend moments like these with families and that I can bottle time to treasure forever!  I’m tearing up again thinking about how lucky I am to have a job that allows me to be there for such special moments.  Thank you Kellie for allowing me to share in your special day with your boys.  I hope to continue to add to your treasures for years to come….

I went to see little Brady (oh and mom too, hehehe) today and boy has he grown!  He’s a big boy who loves to eat according to mom :)   But he’s a cutie for sure!  I met mom way back when (I guess we are old enough to say that now :/ ) when we were at FSU having fun in the Chem lab.  I was very excited when she and her husband moved back to Tally and that they were expecting a little one.  We got to compare bellies for a short while before Lynnlee made her debut and now little Brady is here!

I’m looking forward to watching him grow this year!  Be sure to stay tuned for baby plan pics…

Here are a few from the belly and newborn sessions – Enjoy!

Earlier in May, the ladies of Healthy Mama, Healthy Baby organized their first annual 5K mama and baby run.  It was a great event on a perfect weather day!  Mamas and babies enjoyed the morning run and stretch session afterwards.  I had a great time meeting new moms and talking to Tara and Stephanie – quite the inspiration to get myself back into shape after having Lynnlee… So off to exercise for me!!!

Here are a few pics from the event – to view the entire gallery, click on the ‘your images’ menu above and enter the password – mama.

I can’t wait for more events!

A few from a recent session with a friend from high school:)  It was good seeing her and her family, plus going back to Jetty Park was a treat:)  So much has changed!!  Hopefully catching up with old buddies happens more often :) !!

My second mom-to-be (and beautiful too!).  I can’t wait to meet all the new little ones coming soon :)

What a crew!!  I always have a blast when I get together with this family!  A lot of fun, a lot of personality, a lot of laughs :)   Soon there will be another little L to join the fun…

We started at the train station because the little guy LOVES trains.  We were pretty lucky because one came through before we left – he was very excited, although the horn made him (and all of us) jump a couple of times!  Then it was play time at the park.  Unfortunately I sat on a stinging nettle – NOT FUN!!!

I’m looking forward to meeting the new addition in June – stay tuned for more :)

This past weekend I shot the Masters Diving National Competiton  held at the Morcom Aquatic Center.  This was my third summer shooting the dive events for this facitility and once again I am in awe of what these athletes can do!  I think I was even more amazed at this event because most of the competitors were over 50 and a few in their 80′s.  Over the weekend I learned that many of the divers did not start diving until they were well over 50 – wow!

I very much enjoyed this weekend, a much more relaxed pace and an overall fun environment – personality overflowing from everyone!  I was able to meet and talk to the divers more and get to know them this weekend.  I like to get to know the people I shoot :)   I hope to be involved with more of their competitions in the future…

Up next week is another competition so stay tuned…

The little guy reached up for hte nose right when everyones camera popped up – perfect timing!!!

Every time I go out the this center I get excited - I love trying to find new ways to shoot out there!  My creative field trip for the weekend!  I know not all of these are used by the divers – but I can’t help myself, I had to wander with the camera :) !!!

A big hip hip hooray for Ms. Lillian who recently turned 90!  Her children, grand-children and great grand-children all came for a wonderful luncheon in her honor – a very sweet afternoon :)   It was a pleasure meeting you and your wonderful family Lillian…

Another favorite spring session with two more fabulous kiddos… how cute are these two girls!!!  I love the two ponytails on the little one and the fabulous dresses :)   Enjoy!!!

Here are a few from a spring mini session.  I love photographing the “E” siblings.  The oldest two have such a close relationship, she looks up to her big brother with such admiration and he couldn’t be a more perfect big brother – to both of his little sisters!  I hope my little guy continues to be a great big brother to his little sister!
